Steadily Fading

It is amazing how completely the land can change with a few short hours of snowfall. Only piles of slush remained from New England’s last storm and the dead environment, while beautiful, is not what I was looking forward to, so stepping outside into the steady fall of snow on this day was dreamlike. The insulated silence it created was something to become lost in.

The animation was made from six exposures taken in rapid succession. Creating the soundscape was a bit of a new experience for me but I enjoyed the process and I’m sure there will be more similar works to come.
